Welcome Center Virtual Desk
Drop in and speak with a Welcome Center student assistant at our . Virtual desk hours are Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m. EST. No appointment is necessary. 聽
Virtual Campus Tour
Take our virtual campus tour to discover spaces that aren't available on an in-person campus tour, such as classrooms, residence halls, making facilities, performance venues, and more. Even better, it's available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in seven languages.

Class Visits
Experience a New School education for yourself by sitting in on a current class. An admission representative will help you select a specific course from those available.聽
Class visits will resume for the spring 2021 semester in early February.聽
Undergraduate Program Class Visits
Undergraduate class visits are available for Eugene Lang College and the College of Performing Arts.聽聽is available for Lang class visits. To schedule a class visit to the College of Performing Arts, please email the Office of Admission at聽聽with your request. Because of the nature of its studio classes, undergraduate class visits at 八方体育app are not available.聽
Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students Class Visits
To inquire about visiting a class in the Adult Bachelor's Program, email the Office of Admission at finish@newschool.edu聽with your request.
Graduate Program Class Visits
To inquire about visiting a graduate class in the Schools of Public Engagement or The New School for Social Research, email the Office of Admission at聽gradclassvisit@newschool.edu聽with your request. Because of the nature of its studio classes, graduate class visits at 八方体育app are not available.

Information Sessions
Information sessions are 45- to 60-minute in-person presentations by admission staff and/or faculty designed for students interested in applying for admission.聽
During the winter break (January 4-18),聽we will be offering the online information session events described below.
Apply with Me Drop-in Graduate Session
These online information sessions are designed for prospective graduate applicants. Learn simple steps that will get you on your way to successfully completing your online application for graduate programs at The New School for Social Research or the Schools of Public Engagement.

Online Undergraduate Information Session
These online information sessions are designed for students interested in learning more about The New School's academic programs and admission requirements. Parsons Portfolio Reviews
Portfolio review events offer anyone wishing to pursue higher education in the visual arts and related fields an opportunity to meet representatives of colleges accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design. School representatives are available to review your artwork, discuss programs, and answer questions about professional careers in art and design.聽
During the winter break (January 4-18),聽we will be offering the online portfolio review events described below.
Parsons Undergraduate Portfolio Reviews
八方体育app offers individual portfolio review appointments with our admission counseling team. These 15-minute virtual meetings聽give prospective undergraduate students the opportunity to meet one-on-one聽for general admission advising and discussion of their portfolio. Prepare to share digital documentation of your work; finished pieces as well as sketchbooks and works-in-progress are welcome.聽

These online聽appointments are for prospective first-year or transfer students and family members who would like to speak with the Welcome Center admission counselor about undergraduate admission and enrollment at 八方体育app, Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts, and/or the College of Performing Arts.
During the winter break (January 4-18),聽we will be offering the online pre-admission counseling appointments described below.

Thinking about transferring to The New School from another university or community college? Our Transfer Days provide potential applicants with the opportunity to identify the best-fit program and receive an estimate of earned transfer credits and timeline to graduation.

Thinking about transferring to The New School? Follow your passions and further your career in one of our undergraduate programs. Our Transfer Days provide potential applicants to the College of Performing Arts, Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts, Parsons School of Design, and our Bachelor's Program for Adults and Transfer Students with the opportunity to identify the best-fit program and receive an estimate of earned transfer credits and timeline to graduation. These events are ideal for students who have attended college in the past and/or are currently enrolled at a community college.
